The Station Theatre (run by Hayling Island Amateur Dramatic Society) puts on around 12 shows a year with both professional and amateur visiting groups.

Why not join our large and friendly team and get involved in all the important tasks that keep us running. We welcome anyone who can get involved and help support:

  • Our friendly Box Office, Bar and Front of House Teams
  • Our clever Back Stage Boffins with Sets Design/Building and Decorating, Lighting, Sound, Costumes, Props, Films and even Building Maintenance, etc.
  • Our Publicity Team with Creating and Distributing Posters, Banners, Programmes and Flyers, etc.
  • And of course we always need more talented Actors, Directors, Stage Managers, etc

For full details, pop in to the theatre on Saturday mornings (10 til Noon) and ask to be shown around or phone us on 023 9246 6363 or contact us

The Backstage Crew

All the fun of the theatre without having to tread the boards

In the 1990s HIADS, who were formed in 1947, needed to find a new theatre to put on their performances and found a disused railway building that was suitable for conversion. After a huge effort they converted the building into the Station Theatre - a modern, comfortable, well equipped, 144 seat theatre.
