Guys and Dolls

7:30pm, 2:30pm Saturday Matinee, £16

A musical fable of Broadway.

Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, Guys and Dolls is an oddball romantic comedy. Gambler Nathan Detroit tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck; meanwhile, his girlfriend, nightclub performer Adelaide, laments that they've been engaged for 14 years. Nathan turns to fellow gambler Sky Masterson for the dough, but Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown.

Guys and Dolls takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up right where they belong.

As the actor relishes his newfound role, the facade begins to crack, unveiling a sinister plot of murder and deception.

Charles Ross's 'Dead Ringer' masterfully weaves a tale of intrigue, shifting from light-hearted fantasy to a chilling thriller.

In aid of the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust

The Musicals of the Night

7:30pm, £15 (£13 under 16's and over 60's)

An evening of Musical Theatre: Performed by talented local amateur performers. Come along and listen to a variety of show tunes from Chicago, via 42nd Street to Les Miserables and beyond.

This concert has been inspired by Adam Brombley who (in 2023 at the age of 14) endured ten months of gruelling chemotherapy following a diagnosis of non-hodgkins lymphoma.

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust played a significant role in helping him regain his confidence after treatment and he is now a graduate volunteer for the trust and a member of their youth advisory board. Adam is looking forward to performing in this concert and raising money for this wonderful charity.
