Station Sessions
At The Station Theatre

This February and March, HIADS (Hayling Island Amateur Dramatic Society) are running something new: six weekend morning sessions exploring acting, directing, auditions, and what it takes to put on a show.

These are conversations and practical sessions led by experienced HIADS members who've been putting on shows for years, sharing what we've learned on and behind the stage. They're designed to help you do more and get more out of your time at Station Theatre.

Maybe you've acted but always thought directing was beyond you. Maybe you love helping out behind the scenes but don't know what a Producer actually does. Maybe the thought of an audition terrifies you. Whatever's been holding you back, these sessions are here to change that.

• Sun 15 Feb : Auditions and Casting
• Sun 22 Feb : Character and Physicality
• Sat 28 Feb : Directing Actors
• Sun 08 Mar : Intention and Dialogue
• Sat 14 Mar : Running a Production
• Sun 22 Mar : Stagecraft and Voice

All sessions run 10am to midday at Station Theatre. Open to ages 16+.

HIADS Members get a discount if they buy multiple sessions as follows: £5 per session, 3 sessions £12, 6 sessions £20.

Tickets are available to non members at £15 per session, but if you join HIADS (£20) the price drops to £5 per session.
